About Strategic Planning
Fordham believes strategic planning is most effective when it is ongoing and collaborative. We have built a process that continuously examines and responds to the changing internal and external environments that shape the University.
Since the launch of Continuous University Strategic Planning (CUSP) in 2015, a culture of collaborative strategic thinking has emerged at Fordham, as hundreds of faculty and staff have embraced the priorities articulated in the Strategic Framework. These priorities have taken on new life through numerous initiatives at both the institutional and local levels, and they are perennial guideposts for the University, which we will pursue in each iteration of our planning.
Educating for Justice: Fordham University’s Vision and Strategic Plan for 2021–2026 seeks to re-envision Fordham’s historic yet dynamic mission for the post-pandemic world of the mid-twenty-first century. Through goals, objectives, and concrete initiatives that we will achieve over the next five years, the plan charts a path for the University to become ever more fully itself through mission-driven innovation.
